UPDATE: The proceedings of the Arctic Roundtable are now available – “Putting the Arctic Boom on Ice”
On behalf of the arcticfutures project I was delighted to be invited recently to contribute to a forthcoming high-level roundtable on Arctic regional governance organised by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in partnership with the Canadian High Commission. It intends to cover resources, maritime traffic and governance issues & also aims to help raise the profile of the Arctic Council ahead of its next ministerial meeting which takes place in May in Nuuk, Greenland.
The meeting, which will involve representatives of the Arctic states, certain non-Arctic states, industry representatives, non-state actors, policy analysts and academics – is scheduled for later this month.
